Summer Camps
The following are three music summer camps held in the summer of 2026 in Toronto, Canada, the location of the RCM headquarters. The standard duration for each camp is two weeks. In addition to specialized music instruction, all summer camps held in Canada will include

In addition to various choice of summer camps, we have Master Class program tailored for those senior young professionals.
Camps: CHAMBER & ORCHESTRA CAMP (Ages 8-17)
The Chamber and Orchestra Camp is designed for string students who are seeking a more intensive summer camp experience which includes individual instruction, group class, chamber music, enrichment activity and orchestra. Students will be grouped in chamber music based on their playing level and reading ability. Students should be in Suzuki Book 3 (or equivalent) and above. Applicants must attend the audition for this camp.

Having his own band is the dream of every young student! To achieve this, students need to familiarize themselves with the techniques of band performances and accumulate experience in stage coordination.

Every camper gets a t-shirt on the last day of camp to wear at their showcase performance!
Join RCM faculty musicians for hands-on instruction in an interactive and fun setting. New students may choose from band instruments including flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, and percussion.
Students will be grouped by playing experience and will share their skills in a final performance at the end of the week.
Instrument fitting for new students will take place at The Royal Conservatory (RCM) at 273 Bloor Street West prior to the first day of camp. Further details will be provided closer to the start date.

Get into a rock band this summer at The Oscar Peterson School of Music! Camp takes place at our beautiful downtown Toronto location ! This is a one-week camp, half-day* camp for experienced beginner.
​
This is a camp for experienced beginner and intermediate players. Each day students will spend time learning new repertoire, practising rhythm, singing, and jamming together. Students will learn the art of playing in a band through listening, responding, and improvising.
All students signing up for this camp are asked to submit two (2) video demos to help the instructor plan repertoire and arrangements.
